Welcome to Wi, Nou Ka Palé Kwéyòl (jwekweyol.com), a free website for learning Saint Lucian Kwéyòl. The site is run by an individual based in Saint Lucia (“we”, “us”). By using the site, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the site.

Using the site

• The games and lessons are free to use for personal learning and fun.
• If you are under 13, please get a parent or guardian's permission first, and follow the tips in our Privacy Policy.
• If you create an account, keep your password to yourself. You're responsible for what happens under your account.

Be kind

Many of our players are children and families. When you choose a display name or use chat, voice notes or video in a multiplayer room, please don't:

• post anything rude, hateful, threatening, sexual or otherwise inappropriate,
• bully, harass or pretend to be someone else,
• share personal details like addresses, phone numbers or school names (yours or anyone else's),
• spam, advertise, or try to cheat, break or overload the site.

We may remove names, messages, scores or rooms, and block access, if we think these rules have been broken. To report a problem, email info@jwekweyol.com with the room code or player name.

Our content

The games, lessons, guides, design and code on this site are our own work, and you may not copy or republish them without permission. The Kwéyòl vocabulary and example sentences come from the Saint Lucian Kwéyòl Dictionary (Crosbie, Frank, Leon & Samuel, Ministry of Education, Government of Saint Lucia, © 2001 SIL International) and belong to their owners. Accuracy

We work hard to get the language right and base everything on the official dictionary, but mistakes can happen. The site is a learning aid, not an official reference. If you spot an error, please tell us at info@jwekweyol.com.

Advertising

The site is kept free by advertising from Google AdSense. We don't control the ads Google shows and aren't responsible for other websites that ads or links take you to. Please don't click ads unless you're genuinely interested. Our Privacy Policy explains how ads use cookies.

No guarantees

The site is provided “as is”. We may change, pause or remove games, features, scores or accounts at any time, and we can't promise the site will always be available or free of errors. As far as the law allows, we're not responsible for any loss or damage that comes from using the site.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The date at the top shows when they last changed. If you keep using the site after a change, you accept the updated terms.

These terms are governed by the laws of Saint Lucia.
