How to Play District Odd One Out: a Saint Lucian Kwéyòl Places Game
Goal
Three of four communities are in the same district. Spot the one that isn't.
How to play
- Read the 4 community names.
- Three share a district. Pick the one that doesn't, within 15 seconds.
- See the odd one on the map, and the district the others share.
- Play 8 questions.
Scoring
A right answer earns 100 points plus up to 50 for speed, and the ×2 stretch question doubles that. From your third right answer in a row, each adds 25 more. Wrong or late answers get 0.
Timer
15 seconds per question. When it hits 0, the question counts as wrong and the answer is shown.
Levels
Every round mixes in 2 easier questions and one harder ×2 stretch question.
Beginner
The odd one comes from the far side of the island, and the places are bigger and better known.
Intermediate
The odd one can come from any other district.
Advanced
The odd one comes from the closest district, so it is much harder to tell apart.
Tips
- Find two names you know are neighbours first; the odd one is then easier to spot.
