How to Play Odd One Out: a Saint Lucian Kwéyòl Word Category Game
Goal
Spot the Saint Lucian Kwéyòl word that doesn't belong with the others.
How to play
- Each round shows 4 Kwéyòl words, each with its English meaning underneath.
- 3 of the words belong to the same group, like animals or food. 1 doesn't.
- Tap the one that doesn't belong before the 15-second timer runs out.
- Play up to 8 rounds.
Scoring
A right pick is worth 100 points plus 4 for every second left. Wrong picks and running out of time get 0. Higher levels multiply your points.
Timer
15 seconds per round. When it hits 0, the round is marked wrong.
Levels
Beginner
Words from the Beginner list. Points × 1.
Intermediate
Adds Intermediate words, so there are more groups to mix up. Points × 1.3.
Advanced
Adds Advanced words too, for the widest mix. Points × 1.6.

- Read the English meanings first, then figure out which group three of them share.
