How to Play Typing Test: a Saint Lucian Kwéyòl Typing Game

Goal

Type 3 real Saint Lucian Kwéyòl sentences as quickly and accurately as you can.

How to play

1. A sentence appears above the typing box. The clock starts as soon as it shows up.
2. Type the sentence. Letters turn green when they're right and red when they're wrong.
3. When you've typed as many characters as the sentence has, the next sentence appears by itself.
4. After 3 sentences, you see your speed (words per minute) and accuracy.

Scoring

Your score is your words per minute × your accuracy × 10. Being fast and careful both count. Higher levels multiply your score.

Timer

The clock starts when the first sentence appears and stops after the third. There's no time limit.

Tips

• Don't worry about accent marks: e counts for é, è or ê, and o counts for ò or ô.
• Each letter is checked against the same spot in the sentence. If you skip or add a letter, everything after it will be marked wrong, so use backspace to fix it right away.
