How to Play Domino Kwéyòl: a Saint Lucian Kwéyòl Dominoes Game

Goal

Win rounds of dominoes to be the first to 6 points.

How to play

1. Choose 1 to 3 computer opponents, or Play with Friends.
2. The double 6 starts the first round. There’s no pile to draw from.
3. On your turn, tap a tile that matches an end of the line, then ◀ Play Left or Play Right ▶. Can’t play? You pass.
4. The round ends when someone plays their last tile, or when nobody can move.

Scoring

Going out wins 1 point, or 2 if your last tile was the key tile. If nobody can move, the lowest hand of dots wins. First to 6 wins the match.

Levels

The level you pick doesn't change Domino Kwéyòl. Every match is saved as a Beginner game. To make it easier or harder, change the Learning display before you start: Beginner (number + Kwéyòl + English), Full (Kwéyòl + English), or Kwéyòl Only.

Tips

• Be careful: the moment the last player with 0 points scores, everyone's points go back to 0 (unless someone just reached 6).
• The key tile is the only tile left that could still be played anywhere. Doubles don't count as key tiles.
• After the first round, the winner of the last round starts with any tile. After a tie, the double 6 starts again.
• In Play with Friends, share the invite link. Friends can take a seat or just watch, and the host can fill empty seats with computer players.
