How to Play Konté: a Saint Lucian Kwéyòl Counting Game
Konté means “Count the Objects”.
Goal
Count the pictures and pick the right Saint Lucian Kwéyòl number word.
How to play
- The game asks "Konbyen ou wè? (How many do you see?)" and shows a group of the same picture.
- Count the pictures.
- Tap the right Kwéyòl number from 4 choices before the 15-second timer runs out.
- Play 6 rounds.
Scoring
A right answer is worth 100 points plus 4 for every second left. Wrong answers and running out of time get 0. Higher levels multiply your points.
Timer
15 seconds per round. When it hits 0, the round is marked wrong.
Levels
Beginner
Numbers 1 to 10. Points × 1.
Intermediate
Numbers 11 to 20. Points × 1.3.
Advanced
Big round numbers: 30, 40, 50, 60, 70, 80, 90, 100 and 1,000. Points × 1.6.
Tips
- Count in small groups, like 2s or 5s, to go faster.
